What do I need to supply?
All you need to do is let us know the finish you require, provide your artwork on disc or via email and leave the rest to us. Alternatively, if you need help setting up your design we are always happy to recommend the best format for your artwork. Our in-house graphic designers can even adjust your artwork to ensure that you achieve the best possible results. Our short-run printing services are covered in a little more detail below.

Inkjet Printing
Inkjet or digital printing provides the most cost effective solution to quick turnaround disc surface printing, whilst still achieving high quality results. Our team have had many years experience using professional inkjet technology and can confidently fulfil orders of 1 to 5,000 discs within very short time frames. Inkjet media is available with either a white or matt silver surface; we are more than happy to advise you which format will give the best results for your job.

Thermal Printing
Unfortunately COLORTAPE does not have the necessary equipment to do Thermal printing but we do subcontract this service to a third party. For your information there is an approximately additional 25c per unit compared to inkjet print, which can offer you an impressive photographic quality finish for your discs. Thermal printing is available on short-runs of up to 3,000 discs and is capable of delivering truly professional results, guaranteed to impress you and your clients. This format of printing is perfectly suited to rich, vibrant colour designs with images and/or sharp text. Reflective silver thermal printable discs are also available (ideal for black on silver designs).
